I have a question about shipping a container to northern Russia during the winter months. I have to get a two containers there in the next few months, but I am wondering if it is better to ship them to somewhere else in Europe and then have them trucked by ground to there destinations in Russia. I don't have the option of waiting until spring, and I am worried about winter weather either delaying the shipments or having them suffer some kind of damage caused by rough seas. Does anyone have any experience, either good or bad, that can help me make a decision on whether to go overland or just ship straight to Russia. The shipment is fairly important and the timing is pretty critical too. So I need to make a decision quickly. I am not quite comfortable just taking a shipping company at their word without some sort of recommendation or having someone with experience vouch for them.
