My cousin is living for a year in Poland. After college, she decided that she wanted to go see the old country and visit her mother's family and get to know where they came from. She has asked me to send a few of her personal belongings to her. Is it easy to ship a small package to Poland? In the past, when I have tried sending personal packages to other countries I have had some real problems. I do not want to take any chances since she is asking for some prized possessions that we can’t replace. Photographs, mementos and things so she can share them with the family there. Once, I tried sending some presents to a friend living in South America. I spent over $200 on the presents and $80 to ship the package. It never got there and no one was ever able to trace it. I don not want a similar experience with my cousin. Are there companies that take responsibility for a package for the entire shipment, person to person? I want someone who will guarantee delivery without asking an arm and a leg.
